Supermercado Baptista is committed to ensuring that your personal information is protected and not misused.

1. RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA PROCESSING

Your data will be processed by the company Batista & Batista - Comércio Retalhista em Supermercados, Lda, legal person nr. 503701360, headquartered at Urb. Montes da Luz, lote 58, 8600-164 Praia da Luz - Lagos. This company is responsible for the processing of personal data according to General Regulation of Data Protection.

2. PURPOSE OF THE COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

• Management of customers and potential customers
The main reason we collect your personal information is to facilitate and improve the service you, as a customer, expect from us.
The processing of your data is necessary for the relations between you and the company Batista & Batista to work. If you do not provide your data, we will not be able to provide you with the requested services.
We collect your personal information to manage your purchases and orders at Supermercado Baptista, namely shipping and returns management, whether in our store, either through our website or by phone.
We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to comply with the provision of services and our legal obligations.

• Managing complaints or contacts
You can send us by email (baptista.lda@mail.telepac.pt) or using the contact form on the website any suggestions or complaints regarding the services provided by us. We collect your data to analyze and resolve any situation underlying your suggestion or complaint.

• Managing suppliers
The processing of your information is necessary for the execution of the contract to be concluded between you and the company Batista & Batista. If you do not provide your data, we will not be able to fulfill the contractual obligations assumed.
Your data will be kept for this purpose up to 10 years after the last contact with us.
Information regarding suppliers may be processed by us for the purpose of managing litigation. The legal basis is the existence of a legitimate interest on our part and the data will be kept for the period necessary for the exercise of such rights.

• Recruitment
Batista & Batista collects the personal data of candidates provided in the recruitment page of the website, by email or in person (by delivering a CV in our store).
Your data will be kept for the purpose of managing recruitment processes for a period of 3 years. After this period, applications will no longer be included in the list of active applications, and the data will be deleted.

• Premises Security
For security reasons, images will be captured and recorded inside our store, using CCTV systems, for the protection of people and property, and also aiming for the prevention of the practice of crimes.
Your data will be kept for this purpose for 30 days.

3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Generally, the personal information you provide us includes name, tax identification number, address, telephone contact, CV and email address.
